Oir WMA8. (A) invitation (Listen & Read)

It's Friday morning, in San Jose, and Bill Lewis is in a meeting with Rachel Collins and Larry Bench.

Rachel: So, that's it, we've all agreed. We'll visit the factory site on Tuesday morning.
Bill: That's fine with me.
Rachel: Are you flying back to LA for the weekend, Bill?
Bill: No, no I'm staying here, in San Jose.
Rachel: Do you have anybody you know here?
Bill: No, I don't know a soul here in San Jose.
Rachel: Well, in that case, we can't leave you here on your own! Larry and I are taking our kids to see the new aquarium tomorrow morning. Why don't you come along with us? We can go to Elmoor Place in the afternoon. It's a theme park.
Bill: Oh, no, I couldn't. I'm sure you'd like to be with your family at the weekend.
Rachel: Of course you can! I insist! Really.
Bill: Well, OK, only if it's not too much trouble.
Rachel: We'll pick you up at your hotel at about 9.30? OK?
Bill: That's very kind of you.
Larry: Hey, Bill. Have you ever seen a baseball game?
Bill: Only on T.V.
Larry: What about coming along with me on Sunday afternoon? I'm going to see the San Jose Pirates. They're playing against the San Francisco Stompers.
Bill: San Francisco? I won't know which team to support!
Larry: That's OK. I'll tell you which one!
Bill: I hate to intrude like this on your weekend.
Larry: No, not at all. We'll have a great time. I'll come and pick you up at your hotel after lunch on Sunday afternoon at about 3:00. I'll show you the sights of San Jose before the game starts.
Bill: That sounds great. You're both so kind.
Larry: We'll enjoy it.
