My worst job was when I went to England to improve my pronunciation. I got a job as a Spanish teacher in a prestigious school for businessmen. I didn't think it was too bad at first. The lessons were always in the afternoon so I could spend all morning doing things that I wanted. The school rules and regulations were very strict. We had to use the book that the school stipulated and we had to do one page per lesson each day, no more, no less. This was great because I didn't have to do much preparation for the class. Then my students started to complain. They said that there wasn't enough speaking, too much grammar and that it was very boring! I went to see the director of the school to explain about the problems I was having in class. He listened to me politely, but finally told me that I couldn't change any of the lessons or my style. He also told me that the school had certain rules and that I had to follow them. So I left after a week.
