Hi! My name's George White. I live in Los Angeles. I was working in my
office on the 25th floor of a skyscraper. I was looking up some
information in internet when the fire-bell rang. I rushed out to the lift but it was out of order. The stairs were full of smoke. We couldn't walk down, so we had to walk up. When we got to the roof there were a lot of people shouting and screaming, some were even praying and only a few were waiting calmly. After some time four helicopters appeared. They landed on the roof and were able to rescue all of us before the firemen managed to control the fire and put it out. |
