Curso de Inglés para viajar

My husband and I had chosen to stay in Turkey from 11th - 22nd May in order to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

Our problem started at the airport where our  flight was delayed for over 3 hours. The check-in staff were rude and there was no representative from White Tours present to address the situation. We finally set off at 2.30 pm and arrived at the hotel in the evening, exhausted and upset with having wasted the first day of the holiday.

The hotel was quite comfortable but the food lacked choices and the service was lousy. Although advertised as 'a stone's throw from the beach', the hotel is in fact located on the other side of a busy main road and is at least 25 minutes' walk away. The stores in the resort were overcrowded and  expensive and there were a lot of noisy roadworks in the town.

Lastly, the trip back home was scheduled so early at  8.15 a.m, which meant having to leave the resort at dawn to arrive at the airport on time. As a result, the stay is certainly not eleven days as claimed to be and most certainly not a relaxing, peaceful and worthwhile vacation. We are therefore looking for compensation for all the inconveniences and distressful holiday we went through.
